For nearly ten years, I worked as a lawyer, following the stable path my father wanted for me. But my heart always belonged to fashion, creativity, and art.
While helping others through divorce, I discovered macramé — and through it, meditation. Everything began to change. I left my legal career, became a mother, and slowly built a life that finally felt like my own.

I'm Violetta
I always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins in London with a degree in textile design, I struggled to find stable work and eventually followed my father’s advice to pursue a more secure career — I became a lawyer.
On the outside, I looked successful. But inside, I felt disconnected from my creativity and myself.
Then, in 2019, I discovered macramé — and everything changed. What began as a creative practice soon became a completely new way of living. Knot by knot, I reconnected with creativity, peace, confidence and purpose.
Eventually, I left my legal career, became a mother to two beautiful boys, and founded VIITTA House — first as a fashion brand, and later as a school of macramé fashion and mindful creation.
Today, I’ve taught hundreds of students worldwide and co-host transformative retreats in places including London and the Maldives with Love Life Retreats.
For me, macramé is not just about knots — it’s about remembering that you are the creator of every area of your own life.
